Brock University has been working with CFMS-West Consulting over the years on many different projects utilizing their commissioning services. I have witnessed CFMS West’s in-depth technical knowledge commissioning these buildings and assisting our team throughout these projects, seeing the process through from start to finish.

My working relationship with CFMS-West started at the Marilyn Walker Building of Fine and Performing Arts, where they were responsible for reviewing design, shop drawings, and specifications. Most importantly CFMS-West tests all operations of mechanical and electrical systems to give Brock the confidence that these systems are going to perform for our Faculty, Staff and Students the way it was intended. We have continued this ongoing partnership at the MIWSFPA to this present time. CFMS-West currently services the building automation system keeping it up to date and always trying to maximize building optimization to improve efficiency.

Since that first project, I have had the opportunity to work with CFMS-West Consulting on two more large projects, the Goodman School of Business and the Rankin Family Pavilion. We have been able to build on that relationship of trust which is so very crucial when you are verifying the buildings design and operation, always trying to push the contractor to get it right.
